Touch rugby is one of the fastest growing sports in the world especially in the Southern Hemisphere.

Again First Contact coaches are in the forefront of this new sport to Hampshire not only entering teams in the new evening festivals but also running a touch league in Eastleigh and Alresford for the local sports partnership which has seen 16 teams of adults playing on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

The game is a cross between tag and contact but is defined as a non-contact came for mixed teams and abilities to play together on any surface. We are now working on delivering this fast game into schools, colleges and businesses to get more participants into the game. All lead coaches have the RFU Level 2 certificate and all assistants are qualified to level 1 so you can be satisfied of high quality rugby coaching with safe and up to date practices. Always moving with the times our coaches take regular up to date personal development training so as they are always up to date with new ideas and practices.

After School Training Sessions

At after school sessions our coaches, will not only deliver them for you but will also provide all the equipment needed to make a fun and dynamic session. They will also help your school find games for its teams and if required aid players in the run up for festivals etc.

We will also help players with personal development practices and pathways to see them succeed where able to representative level. We can help you with posters to advertise the sessions and flyers to take home to the parents to explain what the sessions entail.

Curricular Sessions

These can be delivered as above and can help build the level of participation at the after school clubs by delivering the sport to a wider audience.

We can tailor the sessions to suit your needs and ability levels of the participants.

Work schedules can be provided for the duration of the delivery albeit half or full term blocks, these can be supplied in advance so as to give you a chance to check they suit your requirements.
